WISER, Walker’s proprietary site selection optimization model, dramatically improves the quality of location decisions and compresses the project timeframe.

WISER permits empirical analysis and comparison of all alternatives within a client-defined search area, not just those we “think” might be a good fit. The client tells us what they want (for example, low wages and good labor availability close to the interstate and an intermodal terminal) as well as what they don’t want (for example, labor unions, restrictive permitting environment and close proximity to a competitor). WISER then identifies every option that meets or exceeds these mandates.
