Incentives can spell the difference between a good-versus-great location decision. Walker has a proven record of accomplishment in negotiating financial inducements that significantly reduce our clients’ capital investment and recurring operating costs, while avoiding troublesome mandates which often accompany these incentives.

We evaluate and clarify proposals with respect to statutory economic development incentives. This insures the true value of such programs is fully understood and delivered, and protects the client from punitive provisions that may be elements of these programs.

More importantly, we create and structure discretionary incentives which typically far exceed the value of statutory programs, including financial aid to construction, property tax abatements, utility cost reductions and performance guarantees, sales tax rebates, and many more.
